Final Blog entry

For my last day i took my dog for a walk, gave my friend some money and cooked dinner for my family.
I have learnt that my parents take advantage of when i have to do nice things for them.
it doesnt really matter because i had fun
This task would be about 6/10 i have found myself just randomly making tea and coffee for my parents at random times.

day 16

today i made dinner for mum because she fell over and had to get stiches in her elbow. I also made her tea and did whatever she asked me to do. I know she appreciated this because she said thankyoualot and she looked like she felt a bit better.

Day 15

Yesterday for my good deed my friend jess came round. We were bored and she wanted to walk my dog, same as everyone who comes to my house, so we took him round on a long loop to the dairy and back. She only had enough money to buy a few things, so i bought her some stuff as well. I know she appreciated it because she kept saying thanks i'll pay you back but i kept having to say don't worry about it.

Days 13 and 14

Saturday:
Today me and a freind went out to meet my mate ben who had been sailing all day. We bought him a pie and some stuff from the shop. i know he appreciated it because he kept saying thankyou.





Sunday:
Today at ice skating my friend didn't have enough money to get in so i helped pay for some of her ticket. I know she appreciated it because she said thankyou and kept saying she wanted to repay me.

Day 12

Today (well, this week) for my good deed, Me, Tayla, Rebecca, Hayley, Sam and BenG Planned and organised Mr. Read's Surprise party. I know Mr. Read Appreciated it because he said it was the highlight of his day.

AND BY THE WAY it was actually FUN being on a MASSIVE high with tayla and crawling round on the floor with a vaccum cleaner and having the popcorn fight and drinking too much coke etc.etc.etc
( thats why we went high!)

Day 11

Today for my good deed I helped my mum do the shopping. I know she appreciated it because she said thankyou afterwards. I also helped my friends during lunchtime with some things on knowledge net and photoshop. I know they appreciated it because they said thankyou aswell.

Day 10? yea 10...i think?

Today After school my dad went to bunnings to get some things. He had alot to carry so i offered to carry half of it between the shops we were walking to. I know he appreiciated it because he said thankyou afterwards. I also Played with my dog for a looong time.

Day 9

Today after dinner i made mum and dad a cuppa. I know they enjoyed it because they both said thankyou afterward. I also spent 5 minutes or so playing with my dog because he was really annoying me and thats the only way to make him quiet, make him run out of energy. I know he appreciated it becuase he fell asleep afterward.

Day 8

Today at dancing, my friend was getting really cold because uniform is singlets and knee length leggings, so i leant her my jacket. I know she appreciated it because she said thankyou afterwards. I felt good, cold but good, after she thanked me. :]

Days 5, 6, and 7

friday day 5:
That afternoon me and my friends started the forty hour famine. Me, Celine and Hannah were tied together by our wrists. For my good deed i willingly got up whenever Celine or hannah needed somehting, instead of them having to literally drag me down the hall. I knew they appreciated because whenever i needed something they asked "how do you find it easy to get up when we need things?!" I felt smug because they had no idea about the whole 17 days to make a difference thing other wise they would ask me to do all sorts of stuff for them.

Saturday day 6:
This morning Celine Hannah and I went to botany to go shopping. Hannah ran out of money early so I gave her some money for a dress she wanted. I knew she appriciated it because she kept trying to pay me back. I felt good afterward.

Sunday day 7:
Today my sister cut my hair so i cleaned up the bathroom afterwards and made her a hot chocolate. i know she appreciated it because She said "thankyou hunny" and we watched a movie afterward. I felt good knowing i had saved her some time to relax.

Day 4

Today for my good deed I helped my friends decide what we're going to do for the 40 hour famine. Wasn't much of a good deed but they appreciated it and felt happy that I was able to come up with some suggestions and together pick 2 famines we're going to combined. I feel excited about what we're going to do this weekend.









I also helped Dad in the kitchen. I unloaded the dish washer Iand cleaned the rest of the pots and pans and knives etc. It took me 20 mins wich is less than I thought it would take. At first he looked really confused that I asked whether i could "help with the dishes" for the first time in 3 years. I Know he appriciated it because he said "Thanks sophs, I really appreciate that." And fell asleep on the sofa. This made me feel happy.

Day 3

Today helped my friend with her homework, ahe was struggling with her maths. I know she appreciated it because she seemed pretty happy when I offered my help. I felt good after she had left.

I also gave my friend $3. I know she appreciated it because all I got out of her afterwards was "omg thankyou! I love you!" I felt good, but i was in a rush to be off so i didn't have much time to think about it.

I also said thanks to mum and gave her a hug after she cleaned my room etc etc etc. I know she appreciated it because she looked really happy afterward and she would have normally looked hacked off and tired because I wouldn't do it myself. I felt happy because that ment it wouldn't rub off on me later.

Day 2

Today I made my sister a milo and my mum a coffee. I knew they appriciated it because mum looked really suspicious, and sara (my sister) was looking kind of creeped out because I never do that. She must have appriciated it because she called me cool =)

I also helped my piano teacher, Craig.I held open the door for him and tried really hard to listen to him thoroughly. It helped to because i clicked with alot of methods I haven't got the hang of yet.

day 1

Today I was sick at home, and so was my older sister. She was more sick than I was so I ended up making her all the soup and coffee and food she wanted. I knew she apriciated it because she seem happier than she would have been if I made her do it all herself. If i hadn't been bothered she would have gone completely "i dont want to talk go away" . I felt good and don't get me wrong, I love my sister but I wished I were still in bed -.-
